• Hi, How can I convert a pps file into a ppt or pptx file? Please help.

PPS to PPTX
1 Open Microsoft PowerPoint.
2 Select "File" from the top menu bar if you are using PowerPoint 2010. Select the "Microsoft Office" button if you are using PowerPoint 2007.
3 Choose "Open" from the menu. Locate the .pps file on your system. Select the file and click the "Open" file.
4 Click "File" or "Microsoft Office" on the top menu bar. Choose "Save As" from the list of options.
5 Rename the PowerPoint file if you want. Navigate your folder system to where you want the file saved. Change the "Save as type" to "PowerPoint Template." Click "Save."

PPTX to PPS
The steps are similar with PPS to PPTX. Exchange file format in the steps above.
