- does anyone know how to embed a video into a ppt presentation? if i sent you a clip and a slide would you be able to do it for me? please let me know.

Here is a list of video formats which PowerPoint supports: .asf, .avi, .mpg or .mpeg, .wmv.
First, make sure the format of the video you want to embed is one of video formats which PowerPoint supports. If not, convert the video formats FREE.
In different version, the steps of embedding video is different.
PowerPoint 2010
1.Open Microsoft PowerPoint 2010 program.
2.Click on Insert tab and then click Video option.
3.To insert video from web site, click 'Video from website' option. Use 'Video from file' option to insert video from your files stored on the computer.
PowerPoint 2007
1.On the Insert tab, under Media Clips, and then click Movie.
2.Click the video you want to use and then click OK.
PowerPoint 2003
Step 1: On the Insert tab, point to Movies and Sounds, and then click Movie from File.
Step 2: Select the movie file in the Insert Movie dialog box, and then click the OK button.
