Can you present an open office powerpoint with microsoft powerpoint?

  • Can you present an open office powerpoint with microsoft powerpoint on a computer? I tried this last year and it would not let me pull up the powerpoint, would this be the reason or does it not matter?

IN Microsoft PowerPoint 2010
  • Click the File tab.

  • Click Open.

  • In the File of type list, click OpenDocument Presentation.

  • Click the file you want to open, and then click Open.


IN Microsoft PowerPoint 2007
  • Click the Microsoft Office ButtonButton image , and then click Open.

  • In the File of type list, click OpenDocument Presentation.

  • Click the file you want to open, and then click Open.
